ABOUT US

The Summer Schools on Research Methods for Social Sciences, organized from 2006 to 2012 by SDIPA and from 2013 by the Department of Business Administration and Law of the University of Calabria, represent an important event for professors, researchers and doctoral students in Italy and, with increasing intensity, in Europe. In a few years, the Schools have conquered a leadership role in training and updating researchers working in the different fields of social sciences, carrying out a project of fundamental support for academic and applied research. The Schools aim to present, discuss and share methods and techniques suitable for translating original hypotheses and research projects into relevant and rigorous scientific contributions, and therefore supported by robust empirical evidence. The Schools intend to reach university professors and researchers, PhD students, and postdocs in social sciences, as well as consulting firms and companies.
